Scarlet - Marissa Meyer I wasn't sure if it was going to be good at all. It felt strange having a new character's story added in from the start of the book. I was completely expecting to start the book where the end of [b:Cinder|11235712|Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)|Marissa Meyer|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1317794278s/11235712.jpg|15545385] left off. Fortunately, it turned out much better than expected. I took me til halfway through the book though to get the theme. It is very loosely based off Little Red Riding-hood as the first was based loosely off Cinderella. I can't wait to see which story the next book will be based off of next.
